Based in Atlanta, Holly Lynde joined the Institute of Government in 2014 primarily to assist the Georgia General Assembly, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, and the Georgia Department of Audits in quantifying how proposed legislation affects Georgia’s tax base. She also works with local governments and other state agencies on a variety of projects.

Prior to joining the Institute of Government, Holly was the research and policy coordinator for the Southern Regional Education Board for four years, where she worked with state-level education leaders in member states on education technology initiatives. Holly has worked in policy and fiscal analysis for more than 15 years for the Appropriations Committee of the Washington State House of Representatives, the Washington State Higher Education Coordinating Board, and management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, where her clients included the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Defense.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
