Governments around the world turn to our International Center for assistance and applied research in a number of critical areas, from economic development to human resource management. The same Carl Vinson Institute of Government and University of Georgia specialists who serve state and local governments in Georgia provide their expertise to help answer tough questions and tackle daunting challenges abroad.
The International Center partners with governments to coordinate assistance and research projects that seek to improve the administrative capabilities of local and national governments. Whether it is developing rural development plans in Croatia or training research staff from federal ministries in Liberia, the International Center collaborates with public agencies as they respond to development and governance challenges in their countries and communities. The International Center also partners with donor agencies to provide assistance to executive, legislative, and judicial branches in developing countries.
