The Valdosta City Council has announced Richard Hardy, who currently serves as Valdosta's Interim City Manager, as the sole finalist for Valdosta City Manager out of 4 candidates interviewed by the Council on April 21, 2023.
The University of Georgia Alumni Association will honor seven recipients of the 2023 Alumni Awards during an event on April 21. The annual Alumni Awards Luncheon, which began in 1936, recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate a commitment to UGA.
Six University of Georgia faculty received awards Monday for their commitment to public service and outreach. The awards were presented at the 32nd Annual Public Service and Outreach Meeting and Awards Luncheon, held at the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel.
