Asheley Faris joined the Institute of Government in 2017 and has been employed at the University of Georgia since 2013. At the Institute of Government, she works in the Conference Services Unit to facilitate the administrative aspects of a range of state and local government agency events, including retreats and special topics workshops. Prior to joining the Institute of Government, Asheley served as a business affairs manager and office manager with the UGA College of Education, an administrate associate at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, store manager for a large Athens coffee franchise, and has over seven years of experience in private, public, and corporate management and human resources.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
