Christopher Weaver currently manages a team of full- and part-time editors on a variety of geographic information systems (GIS) projects for local and state agencies.

Christopher first interned with ITOS as a student in 1998, helping to create a statewide transportation layer. He returned to Athens and ITOS in 2001. Since then, he has worked on various projects, including parcel mapping, hydrography dataset creation, and transportation routing, school rezoning, and GPS field data collections. In 2005, he was elected to the executive committee for the University of Georgia Staff Council. In 2006, he served as chair for the Public Service and Outreach Staff Representative Group, creating the prestigious Staff Award for Excellence. Christopher volunteers as an instructor for the UGA Karate Club, and he is a member of the Contact Ballroom Dance Company.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
