Jeanette Shannon joined the Institute of Government in 2017. She is responsible for managing and coordinating UGA’s Certified Public Manager® program and other state level leadership programs for the Governmental Training, Education and Development division. Prior to joining the Institute of Government, Jeanette served as coordinator with the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership where she managed the development of undergraduate medical education in northeast Georgia. In addition, she has experience working with local nonprofits in the areas of grant writing and strategic planning.
