Karen DeVivo provides editing and scholarly writing support to all Institute of Government units. She edits a variety of publications, from books to reports to web content. She is also a project writer and editor for the Survey Research and Evaluation Unit at the Institute of Government. Before joining the Institute of Government in 2013, she was a scholarly editor for seven years specializing in finance and public policy. Karen has experience collaborating with professors and universities around the world. In addition, she was a research professional at Georgia State University for several years, working with a team of researchers evaluating state education programs.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
