Mark Foster directs the Institute of Government’s human resource management services, which help state and local entities develop and implement fair and legally defensible job classification/compensation systems and employee testing services. He specializes in working with state and local law enforcement agencies on employee selection and promotion policy development, job knowledge test development, and assessment center design and administration. He has worked closely with such agencies as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Georgia State Patrol and has been the principal investigator on numerous collaborative research projects that have yielded data applicable to real-world personnel issues.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
