Associate Director; Governmental Training, Education, and Development



Stacy Jones works with government entities providing training in leadership, management, strategic planning, community and media relations, and public presentations. She is a frequent facilitator for community engagement, strategic planning, and goal-setting sessions. Prior to joining the University of Georgia full-time, Stacy served as an adjunct faculty member of the Institute of Government leading training sessions around the state. She has worked in local government for two municipalities and served as a hospital executive for community development of a for-profit health system. She is a past recipient of the UGA Blue Key Young Alumnus award and is a past president of the UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association.

The chapel has been restored in a way that allows for its use by a wide variety of university and community groups for plays, concerts, lectures, weddings, meetings, and other special events. The Spalding Theater, which seats 240, and the Conference/Green Room, which seats 45, are rented to the public.
