Governments throughout the world seek out our International Center. The International Center provides technical assistance and comprehensive training and development programs for government officials and personnel.
The cultural exchange benefits Georgia officials and communities as well as their global partners, especially in fostering opportunities for economic development. The International Center has been an integral part of the Institute of Government since 1998. The International Center draws on the Institute of Government's and the broader University's expertise in responding to the needs of its global partners.

China—comprehensive public management training program for the next generation of China’s provincial and municipal managers
Liberia—partnership with the Liberia Institute of Public Administration to build up Liberia’s public sector and implement training programs for all levels of government
Republic of Georgia—partnership with the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs to develop new training programs for a local and national public officials as well as legislators
Kenya—exchange of women leaders between Georgia and Kenya to help develop collaborative networks among women across two continents
Nigeria—training program for local officials exploring public management and leadership, budgeting, and financial management
Ukraine—partnership program with Uzhgorod National University to pursue collaborative research on governance challenges and to examine ways to encourage faculty and students in universities to engage in public service activities
