A grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture will allow UGA Public Service and Outreach units to equip rural Georgia communities with the tools, resources and knowledge to chart a strategy for economic recovery and long-term resiliency.
The Carl Vinson Institute of Government has published the 2022 edition of Compliance Auditing in Georgia Counties and Municipalities. The new edition is current through 2021 legislative changes and is available for free download on the Institute's website, thanks to the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.
Growth. That's the mindset behind a new brand identity for Colquitt County. The brand and tagline, "Where Life Grows," reflect the area's agricultural roots and quality of life. They were borne out of an 18-month process facilitated by UGA's Carl Vinson Institute of Government and Archway Partnership.
