Innovating Georgia’s Workforce Pipeline Webinar Series

Writer: Austin Clark

Through a partnership with the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA), we are excited to present a series of free webinars in 2021 that seek to strengthen Georgia’s workforce pipeline. The four topics for this series include:

  • Successful K-12 Workforce Development Engagement Strategies (April 22, 2021)

  • Leveraging YouScience in your Talent Development Strategy (June 24, 2021)

  • Data and Strategies for Reaching Unemployed and Underemployed Individuals (August 26, 2021)

  • The Workforce of the Future (October 28, 2021)

The first webinar on April 22nd will prepare workforce, economic, education, and community leaders with the knowledge and skills to strengthen their workforce pipeline by enhanced partnerships with K-12 education. The webinar will feature case studies on building the skilled trades workforce, creating a teacher externship program, and building the interest of young women in non-traditional career fields. The Newton County Industrial Development Authority is sponsoring this free webinar for professionals to attend.
