The University of Georgia’s CyberArch officially launched this fall with the addition of 24 Institute of Government student interns. The paid student interns include undergraduate as well as graduate students from the School of Computer Science, the Institute for Cybersecurity and Privacy, the College of Engineering and the Terry College of Business Management Information Systems program.

The students will be working with partner organizations across four Archway Communities this fall, including Washington, McDuffie, Pulaski and Colquitt counties, to develop a cybersecurity risk review and analysis. Partner organizations fall within the city/county government, K-12 school system and rural hospital sectors. Working in teams, interns will generate a final report for each organization with recommendations for strengthening its information security infrastructure.
