There is an on-campus pre-application process required for University of Georgia students interested in the Georgia Legislative Internship Program (GLIP). We assist in the selection of UGA students for participation in the GLIP.
Interested students should carefully follow the pre-application instructions below.
submitting a completed Application Form by email to the GLIP Coordinator
sending a copy of your résumé by email to our GLIP Coordinator
Emailing the GLIP Coordinator a two- to five-page essay describing how your studies have prepared you to participate in the internship program and what you expect to gain from the program
requesting an official UGA transcript
obtaining three completed Reference Forms
[Note: Your transcripts and three reference forms must be mailed directly to us by the school and references.]
Students applying in the spring of 2021 are applying for placement as interns for the 2022 Legislative Session.
To apply, follow the detailed instructions above. Submit a completed application form, your résumé and the two- to five-page essay to internships@cviog.uga.edu.
