Field of Study: Computer Software and Applications

This beginning course will introduce the user to basic information regarding Microsoft Excel. Topics covered include navigation, customizing the ribbon and quick access toolbars, basic formulas, formatting and other basic functionality. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant should be able to understand the format of an Excel spreadsheet, how to customize the menu bars, create formulas and navigate spreadsheets.

Who Should Attend? This course is for state government accounting and financial reporting professionals and others responsible for oversight and administration of a state government’s finances.
