Registration is now open for the UGA Institute of Government’s Plug Into Georgia webinar on EV Charging Funding and Partnerships, which will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. The webinar is free to attend.

Participants will learn how to identify and access funding for public electric vehicle infrastructure in their community. Speakers from the public and private sectors will share updates on available funding opportunities and insights on successful funding applications and establishing productive partnerships. Attendees will learn what to do before applying for funding, the elements of a successful grant application, and how the Institute of Government can help communities evaluate and build electric mobility readiness. Participants will also learn more about Georgia Power's Make Ready Infrastructure Program, and discover how partnerships with utility companies or an EV charging company can provide financial and technical assistance.
