The Chief Administrative Officer for Baldwin will receive a 60% salary increase if the current proposed employment contract is approved by the city council. Emily Woodmaster's current salary is $65,000. However, her salary would increase to $104,000 beginning July 1 under the terms of the proposed contract.
The Georgia General Assembly unanimously passed the Coleman-Baker Act (House Bill 88) which now awaits the signature of Governor Brian Kemp. This Act represents an important step forward in providing closure and justice for families affected by unsolved homicides in Georgia.
Holding a passion for public service, Emily Woodmaster, the City of Baldwin's chief administrative officer and city clerk, has just achieved recognition as a Certified Public Manager. Woodmaster was one of over 125 governmental leaders within the state to be recognized by the University of Georgia.
