Aja Kennedy joined the Workforce and Economic Development Unit in June 2026, where
she conducts tax policy analysis and other applied research projects in service to
state and local government agencies in Georgia. Before joining the Institute of Government,
Aja worked for three years as a research fellow at Boston Indicators, where she authored
reports on local and state policy in Greater Boston, including housing policy, retirement
issues and demographics. She previously served as a diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service
in Hermosillo, Mexico, and Bogota, Colombia. Aja is also a former Peace Corps volunteer,
having served two years in the beautiful province of Darien, Panama. |
