Experiential Learning Scholarships

The Office of Experiential Learning offers scholarships to support students' experiential learning activities. Awards are in amounts of up to $2,500. The Vinson Fellows ProgramPROPEL Rural Scholars and Georgia Legislative Internship Program are all EL-approved non-course activities.

Students must be eligible and activities must be on the approved list of any college to be considered for funding. For more information, contact the Office of Experiential Learning at or visit the Experiential Learning Scholarship website.

Vinson Fellows Program Undergraduate students from any UGA school or college who hold a 3.0+ cumulative GPA

Begins with the Fall and Spring semesters One semester Institute of Government Student Programs and Initiatives
Georgia Legislative Internship Program Undergraduate students with 60+ credit hours at the start of the internship Each Fall semester, applications typically open in September In January with the legislative session Spring semester/length of legislative session Madison Drummond and Dr. Audrey Haynes
