Amber serves as a Business Manager within the Carl Vinson Institute of Government's
Office of Finance and Administration, supporting the Infrastructure and Community
Resilience division.
She has been a dedicated member of the University of Georgia community since 2003,
bringing over 20 years of experience in higher education administration and financial
management. Throughout her tenure at UGA, Amber has held key administrative and financial
positions in several departments, including Accounts Payable, the Warnell School of
Forestry and Natural Resources, the College of Public Health, and the Terry College
of Business.
Amber has a strong record of managing budgets supported by diverse funding sources.
She offers extensive expertise in post-award grant management, payroll coordination,
and an understanding of both institutional policies and sponsor requirements, ensuring
operational efficiency and fiscal accountability.
She has completed UGA’s Fiscal Administration Certificate Training Series (FAST and
GRASP tracks) and is currently pursuing the Certificate in Leadership and Supervision
through the university’s Training and Development program.
