Asher Dozier serves as the E-Mobility Engagement Lead. In this role he collaborates
with UGA stakeholders, state and local government partners, community organizations,
and private businesses to support the state’s efforts to grow its workforce, enhance
prosperity, and lead the nation in e-mobility deployment. Prior to joining the Institute
of Government, Asher has over 18 years of experience in local government leadership
and most recently served as the Vice President of Economic Development for the Newton
County Industrial Development Authority. In that role, he worked as part of the recruitment
and workforce development teams for the Rivian and Archer Aviation E-Mobility projects.
