Prior to joining the Carl Vinson Institute of Government in 2020, Emily worked in
financial management, human resources, and operations management at the University
of Georgia. She served a number of years in UGA Extension, administering youth programming,
performing alumni relations/fundraising, and creating communications design and content.
Emily also has a background in media production and client management.
Emily is a graduate of the UGA High Impact Leadership program and the Fiscal Administration
Certificate Training Series (FAST and GRASP tracks), and also received a certificate
in Supervisory Excellence from the University of Georgia.
