As a Research Professional, Martina Tryman assists with various projects within the
Government and Research Services unit. Martina supports the research, design, and
implementation of classification and compensation studies for state and local government
agencies. Martina aids with research, development, implementation, and evaluation
of job analysis, employee interviews, salary surveys, writing job descriptions, data
management and analysis support. She also helps with administrative duties related
to classification and compensation analysis.
Prior to her current role, Martina worked within the Human Resources unit as a Program
Coordinator. Before joining the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, Martina worked
with the UGA Office of Alumni Relations where she provided support to the executive
director and the UGA Alumni Association Board of Directors. Before joining with the
Office of Alumni Relations, Martina worked in the private sector at a telemarketing
company as a quality analyst and account administrator. In addition, she’s worked
at the John C. Stennis Institute of Government at Mississippi State University on
various research projects including salary and phone surveys
