The PROPEL Rural Scholars program leaves its mark on both student scholars and communities
The PROPEL Rural Scholars program is an impactful experiential learning opportunity for undergraduate UGA students. In a new digital feature, we share reflections from recent participants.
From emergency preparedness in Emanuel County to tourism in Crisp County, 2024-2025 scholars worked alongside UGA Public Service and Outreach mentors and local community leaders to address real-world issues. Their collected stories illustrate the program’s impact on both students and rural Georgia communities.
