Henry County Commission Chair Carlotta Harrell (pictured) -- along with District 3 Commissioner Dee Anglyn III and District 5 Commissioner Kevin J. Lewis -- were recognized at the Association of County Commissioners' (ACCG) Legislative Conference recently held in Jekyll Island. Harrell received the Specialty Track Certification in the Lifelong Learning Academy for Economic and Community Development from the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government in cooperation with the ACCG.
Ross Cox, Vice President for Administrative Services at Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC), recently completed the Technical College System of Georgia's (TCSG) Senior Leadership Academy, a transformative professional development program aimed at advancing careers within TCSG and its 22 colleges. Cox was a participant of the program's inaugural cohort of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership potential. A graduation ceremony in Savanah, Ga. celebrated the achievements of the first cohort on the afternoon of October 25.
