Twenty Graduate from GDOL's Leadership Training Program

Twenty Georgia Department of Labor employees graduated from the department's Executive Commitment to Excellence in Leadership program on Friday, June 2. EXCEL, a partnership with the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government that began in 1992, is designed to develop future department leaders. Classes explore the major political, social and economic issues facing the state and nation.

Holly Springs awarded grant for downtown planning

The Holly Springs Main Street Program is collaborating with a University of Georgia landscape architecture student on municipal improvement projects this summer through the University's Downtown Renaissance Fellowship, the city announced Monday.
