The Carl Vinson Institute of Government's associate director for education and training spoke at the opening celebration for the Metropolitan International Training Institute's (MITI) new world headquarters in Seoul, Korea, last week.
In February, 15 librarians from across the state completed coursework to receive a Library Financial Management Certificate from the Institute of Government. The certificate program is led by Institute faculty and offered through an annual partnership with the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS). The recent graduates are the first librarians in Georgia to complete this specially designed Financial Management Training Program (FMTP).
