Georgia's nonpoint source pollution management plan is getting a much-needed update by the Institute of Government in collaboration with UGA's Marine Extension Service (MAREX), the College of Environment and Design (CED), and others.

In February, 15 librarians from across the state completed coursework to receive a Library Financial Management Certificate from the Institute of Government. The certificate program is led by Institute faculty and offered through an annual partnership with the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS). The recent graduates are the first librarians in Georgia to complete this specially designed Financial Management Training Program (FMTP).
