Throughout this semester, I have learned a lot through my Vinson Fellowship at the International Center under Dr. Rusty Brooks. For my research topic, I focused on American foreign policy towards North Korea, analyzing the different policies of each presidential administration in order to determine which has been the most effective and how that will impact our future relationship with North Korea.
As this semester comes to an end and I reflect upon my experience as a Vinson Fellow, I can say that I truly understand the world-changing work done here at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. My experience allowed me to interact with some incredible people and reinforced how important I feel public service is.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as a Vinson Fellow during my last semester at the University of Georgia. The Carl Vinson Institute of Government has the unique privilege and responsibility of supporting governments in Georgia and beyond through policy research and public service, and I am proud to be a part of that.
I cannot express enough how thankful I am to be part of such an incredible opportunity. I have been itching to get involved at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government since I first heard about its goals and values as a first-year student.
