We provide services for Institute-focused education programs and external education partners. For more information, contact Thad McWhorter.

We currently work with the following associations for conference and training services:

Clerks

State law (O.C.G.A. sections 36-1-24 and 36-45-20) requires anyone hired as of April 1, 1992, holding the title of "clerk" or performing the duties of a municipal/county clerk pursuant to the local charter, ordinance, or code shall attend a 15-hour mandated orientation training.

GGFOA

We provide an extensive training program for local government finance officers and budget directors. The Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA) is a valued partner in this program.

GCCMA

We coordinate and provide educational classes for the Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) that are aligned with the 14 core competencies for ICMA credentialed managers.

GAZA

We offer programmatic and conferencing coordination for the Georgia Association of Zoning Administrators (GAZA).

Public Works

We provide a sequential training program and conferencing services for the Georgia Chapter of the America Public Works Association (APWA).

GATO

We provide support to the Georgia Association of Tax Officials (GATO) in planning and implementing their annual conference. While our main duty for GATO is conference planning, we also provide instruction at their conference.

Elections Officials/Voter Registrars

We work with the Georgia Association of Voter Registration and Election Officials (GAVREO) and the Secretary of State to support the training needs of voter registration and election officials throughout the state.

GA GMIS

The Georgia Chapter of the Government Management Information Sciences (GA GMIS) is continually blazing new frontiers to better serve the public and governmental agencies through sharing of knowledge in the field of Information Technology.

GLGPA

We administer the Certified Human Resource Manager (CHRM) and the Advanced Certification in Human Resource Management (ACHRM) programs.

GACE

We provide a training program and conferencing services for the Georgia Association of Code Enforcement.

Superior & State Court Clerks

This conference affords participants a forum to discuss the recently updated rules, policies and law surrounding the Superior and State Court Clerk's office and review the latest updates in legislation and technology.

Georgia Association of Student Councils

Join teacher advisors from across the state of Georgia to learn and share ideas about how to enhance your student council organization. Conference topics include advisor roles and responsibilities, service projects, advisor resources, parliamentary procedures, public speaking and increasing the level the student involvement.

Charter System Foundation Conference

The 2023 Charter System Foundation Conference and Annual Awards Luncheon, is scheduled for November 7-8, 2023 at the University of Georgia Hotel & Conference Center in Athens, Georgia.
