At a graduation ceremony held on May 26, The Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia recognized 100 graduates of the Georgia Certified Public Managers (CPM) program.
The UGA Parents Leadership Council has awarded the Carl Vinson Institute of Government a generous grant to benefit the Vinson Fellows program. The Vinson Fellows program, which operates every fall and spring semester, matches undergraduates with faculty mentors in the Institute of Government to conduct research benefitting governments and citizens.
A generous $500,000 gift from the University of Georgia Foundation board of trustees to support rural economic development will enable UGA to reach even more communities and provide experiential learning opportunities to more students.
