Georgia's five-member parole board has completed training delivered by the Center for Effective Public Policy and the Carl Vinson Institute. The training was conducted at State Offices South at Tift College in Forsyth, at the Georgia Department of Corrections' headquarters.
An estimated 1,020 people sat in on the conversations across those 13 meetings, voicing their thoughts about how to put an end to violent crime in the county.
Gov. Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp, in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, held the official launch of the Electric Mobility and Innovation Alliance, announcing chairs for each of the alliance's five committees.
