Halle Bynum says the PROPEL Rural Scholars program has allowed her to use her expertise to give a small town the love and attention it needs through targeted projects. Halle said she applied to the PROPEL Rural Scholars Program to gain an understanding of rural towns that surpassed the knowledge she received from growing up in small-town Fitzgerald, Georgia. Halle plans to develop dental practices throughout rural Georgia in the future, and the knowledge and skills she's acquired through classes and the PROPEL Rural Scholars program is setting her on the right path.
